OUR CHALETS
Accommodation comprises of fully equipped self-catering chalets. Each chalet features tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, en-suite bathroom, heater, electric blanket and fan. The chalets are located around the swimming pool and private barbecue area under lush shady trees and meals and picnic lunches are available by prior arrangement.

ABOUT
Mbewa Cabins is situated just off the N4, approximately 14 km from Zeerust, in the heart of the Marico bushveld. Mbewa is an excellent stopover en-route to the Okavango Delta in Botswana and the fishing waters of Namibia, or simply as a breakaway from city life.
Accommodation comprises of two fully equipped self-catering, two-bedroom chalet, sleeping up to five people, as well as three chalets sleeping two people. Each chalet features tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, en-suite bathroom, heater, electric blanket and fan. The chalets are located around the swimming pool and private barbecue area under lush shady trees and meals and picnic lunches are available by prior arrangement.
Mbewa Cabins is located on a private farm with walking trails, game viewing and bird watching all available on site. A tranquil bushveld environment with total privacy is guaranteed, while major attractions such as Sun City, Pilanesberg National Park, Madikwe Game Reserve and Groot Marico are conveniently located within a 130km radius.

Mbewa Cabins is situated 120km from the famous Sun City, which boasts large casinos, valley of the waves, the Lost City, the Million dollar gholf course, water sport facilities, balloon safaris etc.
Pilanesberg National Park
Mbewa Cabins is situated 120km from Pilanesberg, a self driveve, Big 5 reserve.
Madikwe Game Reserve
Mbewa Cabins is situated 98km from the Madikwe Game Reserve ,home to the Big 5, cheetah and African wild dog.

Doornkraal Mountain Route
​
This trail is approximately 18 km in length on a route that is clearly marked. The 8 km mountainous part is quite difficult with lots of rock and climbing. The rest of the route runs along the old farrow or river bank circled with willow trees and the ruins of an old Matabele Kraal can be seen. The trail can be done in one day. The difficulty ranges from easy to challenging.

HC Bosman Living Museum
​
The HC Bosman Living Museum is an exact replica of the Heimweeberg school where Bosman was a teacher in the Marico bushveld. It was erected in 2005 by the HC Bosman Literary Society in Groot Marico, hosting cultural events such as the Bosman weekend through the year and visited by tourists all over the globe. Readings and day tours are available on request at the Information Centre in Groot Marico.
